Recipe for CLASSIC BROWNIES

by @devibharata, for @tatguchocolate, Jun 2020

Ingredients :

150 g TATGU 85% dark chocolate

150g TATGU white chocolate

150 g butter

3 eggs

150 g dark brown sugar

50 g plain flour

30 g TATGU cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

50 g chocolate chips

50 g nuts ( almond, walnut/ cashew) or some raisins

Toppings :

Chocolate chips

Some almond flakes/ cashew nuts / walnut

Method:

  1. Pre-heat up the oven to 170°C. Grease the 8" ( 20 cm X 20 cm ) brownies pan & line it with baking paper.

  2. Combine flour, baking powder & cocoa powder and sift in mixing bowl. Set aside.

  3. Melt the butter in the pan. Put in the dark & white chocolate. Let it sit for a while to melt. Stir well then put aside. (Tatgu chocolate button very easy to melt because of its high content of cocoa butter)

  4. Whisk the eggs & sugar until sugar dissolved then put in the chocolate & butter mixture. Mix well.

  5. Put in flour mixture ( and nuts / raisins)  mixed well. Then pour it to the brownies pan.

  6. Bake it at 170°C for about 25 - 30 mins.

  7. When ready, cool in tin, then slice into squares.
